Your spots stay yours
The exact location goes out only if you chose it. Otherwise people see an area of about half a kilometre.
Private or public
Every catch has a level: Private or Public, and you can change it any time. Your first catch starts as Public, and after that each new catch starts at the level you used last. Catches imported from the gallery stay Private.
Approximate or exact
The exact location is published only if you pick Exact. Otherwise the catch shows in an area of about half a kilometre, and the true position is kept for you alone. A place name that is really a GPS point shows in that same area.
What others see
The feed and the Area tab show public catches only. Nobody can buy access to another angler's spots, and the map's heat layer shows only your own catches.

- If I shared as Public, is my exact spot visible?
- No, unless you also picked Exact. Otherwise people see an area of about half a kilometre.
- Does Premium unlock other people's spots?
- No. There is no such thing in the app.
