Fishwake was born from a simple realization: fishing isn't just luck, and you can keep getting better. We built the tool we always wished we had, and every piece of feedback you give shapes it further.

Good to know

What's expected of me as a tester?

Just use Fishwake as you normally would: log real catches, and if something doesn't work or feels missing, send us feedback from inside the app. Note: the free year of Premium is reserved for active testers, not just for anyone who signs up. To earn it you need to meet one simple condition: send at least four feedback messages (a bug report or an improvement suggestion) during the testing period. Any real tester can easily do that, and it only takes a few minutes whenever it suits you.

Can I experiment and log fake catches?

Absolutely, play with the app to your heart's content. Log sample catches to explore every feature in depth and simply delete them when you're done. There's no problem with that at all, and it even helps us.

Will my data be saved after the testing period?

Yes. Your account and all of your catches, spots and settings carry over to the public launch, and nothing gets lost.

How long does the testing period last?

A few weeks. Active testers get Premium access during the period and, when it wraps up, a full year of Premium free.

When will Fishwake launch?

We're in the home stretch and opening access in waves. Join the list and we'll send you the tester invite the moment your spot is ready.

How much will it cost?

Fishwake lets you use the basics for free: unlimited catch logging, a three-day forecast, basic analytics and data export. Premium unlocks the full 10-day forecast, your complete catch history, advanced analytics, unlimited AI and a full heatmap, for $5.99 per month or $44.99 per year. As a tester you get a full year of Premium free, and after that a locked-in founder price: $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

Which platforms?

iOS and Android from day one of the app being available.

Will my fishing spots be visible to everyone?

No. Catches and spots are private by default, and you choose what to share and with whom. We never sell your locations, and you can export everything (CSV or JSON) or delete your account at any time.

Which languages are supported?

Six languages: English, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Spanish and French, with full right-to-left support for Hebrew and Arabic.
