Habitat
Rocky reefs, deep drop-offs, and offshore pinnacles at 15-200 m depth. Prefers clear water with strong structure.

Powerful predator that hunts fish, squid, and octopus near reef structure. Solitary or in small groups; extremely strong fighter.
